FURS is a coordinated statewide, regional, and county-level system designed to provide collaborative and timely support to situations of instability and help preserve the relationship of the caregiver and youth in care.
- Family Urgent Response System (FURS) is a free 24/7/365 hotline for current or former foster youth and caregivers to call and get immediate help for any issues
- The caller will be connected to a trained counselor and provide a safe, judgment-free, and private space to talk.
- Caregivers can receive In-home de-escalation, stabilization, conflict resolution, and support services and resources.
- If additional support is required, the caller will be connected to our local provider response team – Aspiranet . The team will follow-up by helping connect the youth and the caregiver to local services and support.
