The Standard School District, in partnership and with gratitude and thanks to Chevron for their generous donations, dedicated and opened the new Standard Middle School Fitness Room on November 29, 2021. The district is dedicated to the health and well-being of every member of the Standard community from the students, to the staff and families. The state-of the art fitness room designed and developed after two years of donations from Chevron. Two classrooms were completely remodeled to create one large work-out space which includes weights, stationary bicycles, benches, and treadmills. Additionally, a new Futsal court was unveiled as another completed project from Chevron and the Los Angeles Football Club. Standard students and the Oildale community will enjoy fitness and fun for years to come!
